Social Bonding and Public Trust/Distrust in COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy has been a growing concern. The pandemic proved to be very complicated with the mutated virus. Delta variant is contributing surge of cases across globe. Vaccine can socially contagious, requiring more stringent efforts from policy makers and health professionals in promoting uptake. Some evidence shows that acceptance appears have played an integral role successfully controlling pandemic. Vaccination acceptance, however, demands public good understanding vaccine’s benefits healthier societies people’s quality life. Unclear information lead distrust vaccines hesitancy. It paramount importance communicate clear unbiased encourage Word mouth communication remains important further promote uptake community. This short paper discusses social bonds trust/distrust word decision making.
